Plan of Action

Meetings are the 4th Monday of the month.
If you have not received an email meeting notice, please email FanDemWomen@gmail.com

We will not meet for our regular meeting scheduled for May 25th because it falls on Memorial Day.

Remember: Early voting will all be at the Armory, 7am to 7pm, Monday-Friday, May 18-22. If you have completed the election worker training, Bill Roberts would like to divide early voting into daily shifts of 7am-1-pm, 1pm-7pm (although anyone is more than welcome to work full days if you’d like).  Both parties will use the same machines for early voting so it is likely that we could get by with one person per shift, but we are entitled to 2 or 3 per shift and he would like to employ as many as possible to make the days a little easier (not expecting overwhelming numbers of voters so bring a good book).

So, please let him know your availability (or not) for early voting and he will try to make a schedule to give everyone as much (or as little) early voting work as you would like.  Please try to let him know by Monday evening if possible.

Your work is incredibly important and certainly underpaid and underappreciated, but only thanks to y’all’s efforts does the system continue to function.

At this time our June 22nd meeting will be a planning session to discuss issues to be presented at the Texas Democratic Convention. We need to prepare to make our voices heard in November
